About Me

Welcome to 'Tales from the Classroom'

I am Learning to live inspired by the beauty of life, one post at a time - an ordinary teacher trying to keep extra ordinary live wires well grounded!

I have the awesome privilege of pioneering a new campus, overseeing its growth and teaching too. I work with a dedicated team of people committed to Christian education and building a future that will impact the generations to come. We are preparing a legacy that will be a lighthouse for our community in the days ahead. We are investing in the lives of young people who will be leaders for tomorrows generation. I think I have the best job in the world.

We are pioneering and cultivating the plans and purposes of God in a barren stretch of scrubby land bordered with lush green sugar cane fields on one side and a ridge of tall scraggly trees on the other. We are flanked by the Translink railway line and regularly hear it rumbling past in the distance. This large parcel of swampy land will one day be a P- 12 school. Currently we are a Prep to Year Three campus and housed in one classroom block smack bang in the middle of what will one day be the hub of the school.
